Stochastic Resonance Therapy (SRT)

Stochastic Resonance Therapy was developed by Prof. Dr. Dietmar Schmidtbleicher and Dr. Christian Haas at the Johann Wolfgang Goethe University in Frankfurt am Main. The highly effective and extremely pleasant and painless therapy for the test subject is based on the introduction of mechanical stimuli. This is NOT electrotherapy or vibration therapy. The stochastic stimuli introduced via the feet have a direct effect on the cells of the nervous system, the muscle and supporting tissue and the bones.

The difference to normal vibration devices (harmonic sine signal) lies in the random (stochastic) signals. If a mechanical vibration is transferred to the periphery of the human body, it will be detected and processed earlier (compared to a harmonic signal) if the basic signal (the body’s own nerve impulses) is superimposed with stochastic influences.

SRT ceptoring serves:

    • improving bone metabolism
    • the reflexive activation of the muscles
    • improved stimulus transmission and information processing
    • the activation of brain areas
    • the training of rhythm generators in the spinal cord

This is how the therapy works:

  • You stand on the scepter for a duration of 30-90 seconds. The transmission of mechanical stimuli takes place via the periphery of the body (the legs).
  • Each sequence is followed by a break from stress
  • The therapy is most effective with coupled movement therapy

Die Anwendungsgebiete:

  • Fractures
  • Muscular imbalances
  • Ruptures
  • Multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s
  • Paraplegia, stroke
  • To improve movement processes in the following diseases: neuropathies, RLS (restless legs syndrome), ataxia, urinary incontinence, depression, traumatic brain injury, osteoporosis, Sudeck disease (complex regional pain syndrome)
